Beyond Mountains, More Mountains is a film made by the collective CANADA for 55DSL FW’13 collection in conjunction with VICE and Partizan Darkroom.  The film is a love story telling the tale of a young couple on a romantic road trip from the mountains of Northern Italy, down to the Sicilian Island of Stromboli in the far south of the country.

The brief for this project was to create an interactive map which offers users extra video content and stills from the film. When we travel we collect things .. silly souvenirs, train tickets, postcards, and so on. I combined these objects with the rest of the items (inc. clothes) that the couple took with them on their trip.

The objects are neatly organized - when clicked they reveal the piece of content each object is related to. The site has been optimized for both desktop and tablets, featuring custom touch interactions and streaming video.
